Adelaide, Australia Day 2

Day 2
A cold day .
This was my second day in Adelaide everything was fine but the temperature was pretty low.

My dad said Adelaide has 4 seasons in a day. TRUE!
You will have Spring in the morning then noon with Summer, next is autumn in the evening and winter in the night.
During the winter, it does not snow the lowest I heard from my friend was 0 degree Celcius.
During Summer time, it can be pretty hot the temperature will rise to around 41 degree Celcius.

We woke up in the noon and took a walk to the Rundle Mall ( A shopping zone)
Visit their website : http://www.rundlemall.com/ so you can know more about Rundle mall and it's location.
The temperature was nice but the wind was strong!
We decided to choose some of the souvenirs at Rundle mall.
I didn't see much of the foreign brands like Mango, Topshops or even Forever 21 but then they were lots of local brands such as Factorie, Forever New and so on.

From Mao's place to Rundle mall only needs 8 mins the most I think.
This was the street that we lived on.
It's called Hindley Street which is also a redline zone.
Actually, I like this street because it is very convenient it has McDonald and KFC along the street, 24 hours groceries so you don't have to worried about your meals.
The night sight of Hindley Street.

On Friday and Saturday, they will be a lot of parties going on and off.
You can see lots of drunkers lying on the street or ladies shouting along the street.
I not sure whether this rule goes in other states of Australia but in Adelaide if the polis see a drunker alone without any friends they will call an ambulance and send the drunkies to the hospital.

The fine will be 800 aussie.

SO, make sure you go clubbing with a bunch of GOOD friends or remain sober.

After 8 mins, we reached the Ruddle mall.
Can you see the retro building?
That's my landmark for Rundle Mall hahahha.. but actually it is three pigs and a two layers Sliver ball just in the middle of the street.

There are some shops that I would like to go for an intro.

First, if you like to buy something cheaper and special then you can go to Kmart.
Can you see the sign board a big red K beside Inglot in my last photo?
That's the one!
I bought two pillows for only 5 aussie but the quality is just so so only.
It sells daily products, chocolate, clothes and even cosmetics.

The next I'm going to introduce is Suppre.
You can find very cheap clothing in it like 5 aussie per shorts.
Besides this, there is another clothing shop "Factorie" the price is slightly higher but the design is nice!

I bought their nail polish which I think Malaysia sell more expansive.

After few hours of shopping we stopped by a café and have our lunch.
The café located slightly at the end of the Rundle Mall.
Sorry for the angle ..but you can find it just opposite 'yes optus' one of the mobile company.
Between you guys can buy a prepaid card in 'yes' optus. It's easy to register, you just need to bring yr passport and choose which type of package you want. That's all.
'yes' optus is easy to find and their service also quite okay.
There is one 'yes' optus in China town and one in Rundle mall..and so on.

Okay back to my lunch, at the beginning we chose this café because it has the wifi service LOL.
It's called "Bruccone"
It's like a Starsbucks which sell cheesecake, coffees and soft drinks.
I chose their Carrot Walnut cake , so delicious!
I was attracted by the sugar on the top of the cake!

CRY because I missed home already LOL..

So we done with shooping, lunch and decided to visit Calvin accommodation.
In Adelaide time really past fast maybe because we were still in jet lag mood ??!
  Sleep-ing
During night time, Mr. Calvin brought me to eat Pancake!
This was a special one for me because it opens 24 hours EVERYDAY!
Isnt it cool?
It's located just along Hindley Street called "Pancake Kitchen"

I love this place because it is warm when outside is cool and it is cool when outside is hot!
In every part of Australia most of the shops will closed after 5pm so there is not much restaurants and cafes left so I would like to come here at night.

The Mr. camera boom (Calvin)

This is mine "Farmer breakfast"
two pieces of pancake, two harsh brown and two eggs.

This belong to Mao.
That night special.

After the supper we went to City West campus of UniSA.
City West is nearer to Hindley Street than my future Campus.
Most of the students who live in Hindley Street will study at City West Campus.
This is the conventions centre.

This is the City West campus.

Everyone was studying including us.

That's night was freezing. I think about 10-13 degree Celcius.
So we spent about 3 hours in the library and around 2 am  we went back to Calvin accommodation.
While we on our way back, we decided to drop by a 24 hours grocery shops and bought some instant noodles.

Love their grocery shops because it was so warm and outside was freezing.
This is one of the biggest 24  hours grocery shops I seen in Adelaide. It just located opposite Adelaide Casino.
LOL this is a funny picture right?
see Mr. Camera boom's face..that's so called an "exam face" hahahahha

Okay, just for laugh before bed.
Night guys!
That's all for the day.
