Adelaide, Australia Day 5

Day 5

We woke up even earlier than Day 4.
Not because of any things JUST becuase we are all alcoholics!

We decided to go winery.
I think in the whole Australia, wine from Adelaide is the best.
Along the Adelaide Hills there are lots of winery some of them are quite famous in Adelaide.
Thus, we picked up some famous winery and yeah we ready to off!

First, we must find our BREAKFAST.
We reached the North Main Road and decided to have our breakfast here.
Along North Main Road there is a Indian Restaurant *what I heard from Jarell was that this restaurant is the most famous indian restaurant in Adelaide!

Unfortunately, we went there too early and the restaurant hasnt prepared yet.
Thus, we dropped a local mini food store and have a fish&chips first to full fill the demand for Brunch!

SEE!!!! what our boss , Mr. Mao has to say!

"This picture is so damn funny!!!!!!!!!LOL"

So we waited for the restaurant to open.....such a long way to go...
Tar Tar 11.30 here we go for our Indian LUNCHY..
At first, this restaurant didnt really attract me.
The store was small and only 4 tables dont really trust it is the famous indian cuisine in Adelaide.

FOODS FOODS FOODS!!!
We called the num, butter chicken, prawn curry and a rice.
HMMMMMM.....so damn delicious!

After lunch, we set off to winery...
Along the way it was field and field...still field...
Nice shoot ! like a car advertisement!

Finally, we reached !
When you travel to their suburb you will feel that you came to a Cowboy Town.

Finally, we one of the winery CHATEAU TANUNDA.
Chateau Tanunda is one of the oldest and largest Chateau in Australia.

A chateau is a large French country house or castle often giving its name to wine made in its neighborhood.

In every winery, they will provide you a tasting list so you can try some of their products.
I prefer to have something sweet rather than dry but somehow those winner wines are those dry one.

The next stops, Penfolds!
Heard from Jarell that Penfolds is one of the branded wine in Adelaide.
You can have more information thru : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penfolds

This was the main hall of Penfolds.
This was the alley of Penfolds.
What a peaceful.

Basically, in most of the winery there will have "Wine of the month" or those seasoning wine.
Some there will have their special or exclusive.
Since I have been trying dry wine from the previous one so I decided to have some sweet coming on.
PORT WINE.
Port wine is a Portuguese fortified wine. It is typically sweeter and always serve as a dessert wine.
The price is slightly higher, if I am not wrong it is 40 aussie per bottle.
Remember to have a test on several wine then only decide which suit you more.
In Penfold, they got the "Tawny" *love it so much.
It was concentrated and the taste suit me quite well. However, I didn't buy any because I thought I will back here when my parents came...but unfortunately no T.T

NEXT
We drove for another 15 mins we came to another winery "JACOBS GREEK"
I think this was the largest I have been to .

Visit them:
Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat , 5352, South Australia, Australia
 Contact: 08 8521 3000
Their spacious parking lot.
Partly of their winery.

It's like a small supermarket.
I love the building and the facilities they provide.
Inside this building there was a small museum of their wine, restaurant and a spacious pasture.
Here we go for the interior!!
Let's go
Spacious!!! owwww... simple design.
By the way I just want to remind that if your features look young *like me :))) then you have to bring your Passport to prove that you are not underage.
In Australia they do check very carefully.
Just a remind.

So I asked for the same drink.."Tawny"!!
The price here was cheaper but the density is slightly lesser compare to Penfold.
In Jacobs there was another type called "Muscat"
However Muscat is slightly denser than Tawny.

When my parents came we did come to Jacobs again and I tried another flavor.
This flavor was not as sweet as Tawny and Muscat but it is more like a sparkling wine to me.
It's name "Gramp's"
I love it's colour also... YELLOW!!
Here it is..

Here comes the fourth winery we were going to "Seppeltsfield"
At the beginning, this winery wasn't in our list yet but I wanna buy Tawny so badly and this recommended by Mr. Mao .
Thus, we decided to end our winery trip with this "Seppeltsfield"
Look Britain right!!
Here we go for our last tasting !
The interior of the Seppeltsfield.
It look more like an ancient winery like those Britain Style.
Here provide lots of varieties for Tawny.
They have the Classic Tawny, 90's Tawny and Etc.
However, the price here was more expansive then Penfolds.
Instead of Tawny I got one Vintage Rose.
Vintage Rose
That's all for my winery trip till my parents were here.

The middle one was the Muscat.

What we bought for the day!! *mostly from Mr. Jarell and Mr.Mao

That's all for the day !
With Winesssss

Adelaide, Australia Day 4

Day 4

Teehee we woke up earlier this morning!
JUST.....
 because of the duty-free discount.
Morning was cold, eyes were tired
BUT with the discount OH YEAH we are coming!

Duty-free 25% discount happens in the end of November every year (but Mao told me only for a day so I not sure will their date be the same for next year or not but it was 22nd Nov the date that I got there) .
( I think because students finished exam and returning to their countries so most of the students will have their souvenir done here.)
It's called "JR/duty free" you need to bring your passport and return ticket as to show you will bring your duty-free purchases back.
They do sell Iphone, Ipad and camera etc.

I took a long time to pick up my perfume and the sovenir to friends because you can see alot of brands.... like Yves Saint Louis, Lancome, Gucci and Celine.
Here is my stuffs!

Finished buying, we off to the ocean!
We were going to have a CRAB HUNT Hehehehhehe.
CRAB HUNT!! hmmhhmm

First we need to get some instruments first.

At the beginning, I have some really nice images that we were going to have some drinks beside us with our net in the ocean and wait for the harvest.. HAHA..wasn't that easy man.

Along the way...

We stopped at this BCF fishing instruments store.
Wow, it was like a supermarket with lots of brands and fishing stuffs..
My uncle would like this place so much I think.
Moreover, the workers there were all hot and friendly.
They will guide you with your instruments. NO WORRIES AT ALL.

Mr Mao.

The price and their timetable.
I think they provide SKUBA diving as well since they state gas fill..ermmm I am just guessing..

Huge right???!
Done with the shopping.
We bought a net and harrow.

Here we go... CRAB HUNT~!

These photos took when I suddenly woke up by Mao and Jarell's annoying screaming and bad words..TEEHEE.. but still great shoot ...LOL
The journey was far I think....at least.. in my memories it took about 2 hours or more than that.
Yeah...

Finally..Finally...Finally we reached!
Blue sky..
Ocean breeze...
My boss, Mr. Mao
Two fishermen

Let's it begin! HOHHOHOHO

Walk...

Walk...

Still walking...

Almost there>>>

I love this shoot so much....
Sorry being annoying har.. but then seriously I love it..
Thanks to my photographer Soniakatie.

What's he doing?!
hahahahha..CUTE!

Finally, the island of CRAB!!!!

Okay, so why I said walking...still walking...because if you want to have a good harvest, you have to walk to a deeper side..
While you walking please be aware because the crab might be under your feet and ready to stung you.
This was how I got those stung T.T
If you lucky enough you can get some serious one like Mao he did cut by one of the crab.

Yeah, we used the harrow to remove the sea weeds...were they seaweeds?? I also not sure...
Okay this was what we did, we used our feet as a tester. If there were crabs underneath our feet we will felt stung and took the harrow and dug the crab out.
I think our methods were abit stupid but yeah we have a good harvest in the end.

See I am hard working LOL!

HuHUHUHUHUHU...this was our Harvest man!
4 fishermen!

It's time to clean ourselves
My shoeeeeeee... without her I might get more stung by the CRAB!
I prefer you guys bring some water as to clean your shoes, hands and even face.
You can feel that your face is salted by the ocean breeze.

The 4 fishermen felt hungry and decided to dropped by nearby store to hunt for FOODS now.
This was a really small village so we didn't find any restaurants nearby.
We stopped at this family business store to have some snacks.

One of our fishermen, Mr. Jarell, with his boxer LOL
I cant believe that his legs are actually skinny than most of the ladies !
I not sure whether it was illegal or not to drive with a boxer in Australia but he got no pants to change so that's why.
HEHEHEHHEHE
Must be very cold that time haizzz..pity boy

This was my snack!
HMMMMM...creamy sandwich..but after eating felt so guilty to my stomach.
It was so much creamy and sugar that surrounded the whole bread.
BUT it was nice! One was enough, two just too much!

One the way home, it was field..still...only field..
As you know, Australia is a very big piece of land than the population is not that huge that can cover the whole piece of Australia so along the high way or suburb you can see field, winery and farming area.

Wasn't nice!

Backed to the city, we went back home and have a nice bath!
Our feets were so painful because three of the fishermen stung by the CRAB one even got a deep cut except for Mr. Jarell = =

Take a break and we continue with our dinner.

It's dinner time!
YEAH.
Mao wanted to have KOBU (Korean BBQ) but then we missed the time.
In Adelaide, some of the restaurants will close on 9 something and some will still open till late.
*so you really have to concern about their business hours till now I will still messed up the time , this is why I prefer 24 Pancake LOL

We went to a Chinese restaurant to have our dinner!
ermmmm...the dishes were nice!
Let me show you the dishes now....
NICE?
We got egg, vegetable, meat and toufu!
Love it so much but I forgot the restaurant name = =
It was somewhere around KOBU .

THAT'S ALL for a productive day!
