Adelaide, Australia Day 5

Day 5

We woke up even earlier than Day 4.
Not because of any things JUST becuase we are all alcoholics!

We decided to go winery.
I think in the whole Australia, wine from Adelaide is the best.
Along the Adelaide Hills there are lots of winery some of them are quite famous in Adelaide.
Thus, we picked up some famous winery and yeah we ready to off!

First, we must find our BREAKFAST.
We reached the North Main Road and decided to have our breakfast here.
Along North Main Road there is a Indian Restaurant *what I heard from Jarell was that this restaurant is the most famous indian restaurant in Adelaide!

Unfortunately, we went there too early and the restaurant hasnt prepared yet.
Thus, we dropped a local mini food store and have a fish&chips first to full fill the demand for Brunch!

SEE!!!! what our boss , Mr. Mao has to say!

"This picture is so damn funny!!!!!!!!!LOL"

So we waited for the restaurant to open.....such a long way to go...
Tar Tar 11.30 here we go for our Indian LUNCHY..
At first, this restaurant didnt really attract me.
The store was small and only 4 tables dont really trust it is the famous indian cuisine in Adelaide.

FOODS FOODS FOODS!!!
We called the num, butter chicken, prawn curry and a rice.
HMMMMMM.....so damn delicious!

After lunch, we set off to winery...
Along the way it was field and field...still field...
Nice shoot ! like a car advertisement!

Finally, we reached !
When you travel to their suburb you will feel that you came to a Cowboy Town.

Finally, we one of the winery CHATEAU TANUNDA.
Chateau Tanunda is one of the oldest and largest Chateau in Australia.

A chateau is a large French country house or castle often giving its name to wine made in its neighborhood.

In every winery, they will provide you a tasting list so you can try some of their products.
I prefer to have something sweet rather than dry but somehow those winner wines are those dry one.

The next stops, Penfolds!
Heard from Jarell that Penfolds is one of the branded wine in Adelaide.

This was the main hall of Penfolds.
This was the alley of Penfolds.
What a peaceful.

Basically, in most of the winery there will have "Wine of the month" or those seasoning wine.
Some there will have their special or exclusive.
Since I have been trying dry wine from the previous one so I decided to have some sweet coming on.
PORT WINE.
Port wine is a Portuguese fortified wine. It is typically sweeter and always serve as a dessert wine.
The price is slightly higher, if I am not wrong it is 40 aussie per bottle.
Remember to have a test on several wine then only decide which suit you more.
In Penfold, they got the "Tawny" *love it so much.
It was concentrated and the taste suit me quite well. However, I didn't buy any because I thought I will back here when my parents came...but unfortunately no T.T

NEXT
We drove for another 15 mins we came to another winery "JACOBS GREEK"
I think this was the largest I have been to .

Visit them:
Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat , 5352, South Australia, Australia
 Contact: 08 8521 3000
Their spacious parking lot.
Partly of their winery.

It's like a small supermarket.
I love the building and the facilities they provide.
Inside this building there was a small museum of their wine, restaurant and a spacious pasture.
Here we go for the interior!!
Let's go
Spacious!!! owwww... simple design.
By the way I just want to remind that if your features look young *like me :))) then you have to bring your Passport to prove that you are not underage.
In Australia they do check very carefully.
Just a remind.

So I asked for the same drink.."Tawny"!!
The price here was cheaper but the density is slightly lesser compare to Penfold.
In Jacobs there was another type called "Muscat"
However Muscat is slightly denser than Tawny.

When my parents came we did come to Jacobs again and I tried another flavor.
This flavor was not as sweet as Tawny and Muscat but it is more like a sparkling wine to me.
It's name "Gramp's"
I love it's colour also... YELLOW!!
Here it is..

Here comes the fourth winery we were going to "Seppeltsfield"
At the beginning, this winery wasn't in our list yet but I wanna buy Tawny so badly and this recommended by Mr. Mao .
Thus, we decided to end our winery trip with this "Seppeltsfield"
Look Britain right!!
Here we go for our last tasting !
The interior of the Seppeltsfield.
It look more like an ancient winery like those Britain Style.
Here provide lots of varieties for Tawny.
They have the Classic Tawny, 90's Tawny and Etc.
However, the price here was more expansive then Penfolds.
Instead of Tawny I got one Vintage Rose.
Vintage Rose
That's all for my winery trip till my parents were here.

The middle one was the Muscat.

What we bought for the day!! *mostly from Mr. Jarell and Mr.Mao

That's all for the day !
With Winesssss
