Any of you tried Germany Pork ribs before?
Can you believe that we can have it in South Australia?
YES We CAN!

There was a place called Hahndorf in South Australia. It is a small German Village.
45 mins to reach from the city.

In Hahndoft there were few Germany restaurant.. The most famous will go to "Hahndorf Inn" I think.

The restaurant was super crowded that day we went.
The service was nice and the foods were nice too.

Lets have our ordered show.
First, the German Beer!!
How can we skip this part??
There were several types of beer and some of them was seasoning beer.
I requested for the sweeter one.
The beer was nice, smooth enough.
This was the a "Taste of Germany Platter"
Bockwurst, Weisswurst, Cheese Kransky and Vienna sausages,  smoked Pork Kassler Chop and Pork Knuckle. Served with  Rhine potato, sauerkraut, 2 pretzels and a selection of  German mustards.

"Stuttgart Platter"
Two char grilled racks of ribs with 12 crispy chicken wings served with home made BBQ rib sauce, sauerkraut and rhine potatoes

Lets start!!!
The dining place *outdoor
Super cold that time.
Other dishes they have.
When my parents were here they did try the fish and chisps but the taste wasn't really that satisfied.
After having a gigantic lunch, we decided to have a walk around.
In Hahndorf, there is not much shops, bontique or shopping mall.
Howeve, you can find shop that run by their family and those antique shops selling their homemade items.

We stopped by and tried their homemade Ice-cream.
Hmmmmm the price was slightly higher but the taste was quite good and fine enough.

Next stop
The "Beerenberg Farm" a strawberry farm.
At first, I was like huuh.. big adults plucking strawberries huh..
However!!!
The strawberries taste real sweet!
I will suggest this place for those family with little kids.
You can pick your own Strawberry.
Before you start picking your strawberry you have to purchase the entry ticket.
3 aussie for adult/entry
Free for children.
Then after you picked the strawberry they will measure how many kilograms you have then count it separately.

See the little girl?
another advertising picture..

After the Strawberry farm, my bosses decided to purchase more liquor.
We went to a liquor supermarket called "DanMurphy's" while on our way home.
The supermarket was real big and you can find lots of varieties in it.
I prefer shop here rather than those winery chateau.
However, Chateau provides testing but here they do not.

I purchased six cans of Pikes which recommended by the sale man.
He said this was one of the oldest and smooth beer sell in Australia.
Actually, I bought because of the bottle's design.
Wasn't it look cute and nice?
Left side the crabs .. just for picture only because it stink already *what a waste right

My bosses invited one of their girlfriend here.
She bought us to try Uighur Cuisine.
Practically, I not sure what is Uighur religion is but I think is somehow belongs to Muslim.
I did some research on their location and what their people wear.
Here comes the map.
You can see it is located somewhere in the northwest of china.
According to my history teacher *my beloved father , it's located in between China, Afghanistan and India.
Most of them believe in Muslim.

This is what their clothing looks like result from Google.
This is abit out of the city.
There is no bus to this place nor tram.
It's called the "Silk Road Uighur Cuisine" Chinese "丝绸之路"

My favourite in this restaurant.
Home Made Yogurt.
It tastes like yogurt *Teehee it is yogurt but it is not sweet as yogurt that sell in the supermarket.
In some restaurant, this home made yogurt tastes real weird and smelly.

I believe this is the Goshnan it has been quite some times so I almost forgot the name.
I remember it is a lamb dishes and the lamb taste real strong.

 This is the kawap (Lamb)
For me it's abit hard and the smell too strong.

My second favourites dishes Suyuk Ash.
Actually is a soup with handmade pasta and vege

That's all for the day :)
